About Mere Wisdom
Hi, my name is James and I am the author of merewisdom.org, a blog that tries to celebrate mistakes and the resulting wisdom that comes from them.
There is a quote that I like about wisdom. It sums me up well, and goes like this:
“The fool who persists in his folly will become wise.”
Now, I am certainly a fool, and I have persisted long and hard on a great many follies. In fact, if my friends were consulted, they could probably chuckle and share a few examples of my foolishness, persistence and follies. But oddly enough, it is those same friends who add the part about finding wisdom in what I write.
So trusting their wisdom and judgment leads me to sharing some of my mistakes and the lessons I have learned along the way. I enjoy writing and sharing what I have learned. I have a good memory, but when it comes to learning from my errors, my memory is very short. So in the hopes that maybe even I can learn, I offer mere wisdom.
